Possessing over forty years of commercial experience, Gordon has extensive expertise in the Civil Enforcement arena and the Technical Recruitment sector. Over the course of his career, Gordon has held various middle management positions, including Regional Manager, Technical Services Manager, Operations Manager, and Operations Director, supporting teams in achieving sales and performance targets.
With 26 years of experience in the Recruitment industry, Gordon has focused on Technical Services roles within the Automotive, Aerospace, Special Purpose Machinery, Control Systems, Engineering, and Manufacturing sectors, recruiting predominantly permanent candidates for a wide range of clients across the UK.
Gordon joined CAD Commercial Cleaning in the summer of 2024 and provides vital support to the business in Procurement, Recruitment, Product Research, Surveying, Quoting, and assisting field staff with accommodation arrangements for overnight stays across the UK. CAD Commercial Cleaning offers exterior cleaning services to maintain and preserve the integrity of client premises across various industry sectors, including Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Education, and Leisure facilities.
During his time in the Recruitment sector, Gordon completed a variety of internal and residential courses covering sales processes, team management, and the psychology of the industry, ranging from “Essential Recruitment Skills” to “Manager as Recruiter” programs and more.
A passionate football supporter, Gordon follows Aston Villa across the country and into Europe, rarely missing a game at home or away. Outside of work, he enjoys a busy personal life with his wife, three daughters, seven grandchildren, and a holiday home in South Devon, ensuring there are few quiet moments during the week!
